IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Thank you for choosing Horn’s Creek Resort. We hope you enjoy your stay! Please read the following information. It will help make your stay more enjoyable.  

Part of Horn’s Creek Resort’s allure is that it is located in a rural, heavily forested area.  While we do our best to maintain a friendly, safe environment, the wooded areas surrounding the resort do contain natural hazards such as downed trees, steep hills, wildlife, insects and hazardous plants such as poison ivy and poison oak.  We ask that guests use the same level of common sense and caution as they would when tent camping in a remote, heavily forested area. You are assuming all risk of injury while on our premises. 

DEPOSIT/CANCELLATION/PAYMENT POLICY

At time of booking, a valid credit card will be required to hold the reservation. A deposit equal to 50% of the total lodging cost must be received by the deposit due date specified in the confirmation letter.  If the deposit is not received by the date specified, your reservation will be subject to cancellation.  Cancellations after the cancellation date will result in deposit forfeiture and you remain 100% financially responsible for all units booked. We request that payment (deposits and final payment) be made by check to avoid the 3% credit card service fee charged by credit card companies. To compensate for the credit card service fees and allow us to continue to offer discounted rates, all credit card payments accepted by Horn’s Creek will be assessed a 3% service charge.  We accept MasterCard and Visa only. 

ALCOHOL & ILLEGAL SUBSTANCE POLICY

The consumption and possession of alcohol is permitted for guests over the age of 21. 

1)       Consumption or possession of alcohol by any guest under 21 on our property is strictly prohibited.  All alcohol consumption must be confined to the area inside your assigned lodging unit.

2)       The use or possession of illegal substances/drugs on our property is strictly prohibited.

SMOKING AND PET POLICY

We strictly enforce a no smoking policy in all of our facilities. You may smoke outdoors, however we request that you dispose of all cigarette butts in a garbage can. We also request that you carefully extinguish all cigarettes to reduce the risk of fire.  We also strictly enforce a no pet policy  in our lodges, bunkhouses, pavilions and dining facility.

LINENS/SUPPLIES/COOKING

Bed linen is provided in all lodges, but linens are not provided in bunkhouses. Bath towels are not provided in either lodges or bunkhouses. Units with full kitchens are supplied with basic cooking/eating utensils as well as a start up supply of dish soap, dish towels, garbage bags, toilet paper and coffee filters. Units without full kitchens are supplied with a start up supply of garbage bags and toilet paper. We do not provide paper hand towels.  Due to Health Department regulations, cooking is permitted only in units with full kitchens (Cedar, Walnut, Mt. View and Lake View). In other facilities, cold food preparation is permitted only with prior authorization from Horn’s Creek management. 

WAIVERS

All activities require signed release forms. All participants under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardians signature on the release forms.  Completed release forms must be turned in to the office at time of check in. Copies of our release forms are mailed with the confirmation letter. Release forms can also be downloaded from our website. 

WATER PARK/ROPES COURSES/PAINTBALL

These facilities are strictly off limits to all guests, at all times, unless you have made reservations through the Horn’s Creek Office to use the facilities.

Violation of the policies on this page could result in your party’s removal without refund.
